Yay, I have created free domain extension email accounts in GoDaddy through cPanel account. Now I would like to set up those email accounts in Outlook application or other email clients. Can anyone help me, how to setup GoDaddy email account in Outlook or other email client software?

Step-1) To setup GoDaddy email account in Outlook or other email clients, first, log in to your Godaddy’s Account, Click Here to login GoDaddy account.
Once you logged-in, now you need to click on your account’s top right corner of the page(As shown in the below image), in those options just click on a “My- Products” option.Once you click on a “My-Products” option, below you will get multiple options. (check we have “Domains, Web Hosting, and WorkSpace Email”).
Step-2) After completion of the first step now you need to click on “Web Hosting->Manage” option ( I have hosted only one website so I will click on “blogkeep.com-> Manage” option if you have multiple websites hosted then you need to click on “Manage”, for which you want to setup GoDaddy email account in Outlook or other email clients).
Step 3) Once the step-2 is done, you will automatically be redirected to your cPanel account.
In cPanel you will get below options, in that we need to click on “Email Account” (Shown in below picture).
Step-4) Once you clicked on an Email account, you will get all registered email accounts as shown below (I registered only one, so it’s been displaying only one email account).
Now click on “More->Configure Email Client” icon as shown in the below picture.
Now click on “Auto Discovery” option (I clicked on Microsoft Outlook 2010® for Windows®).
After clicking on your desired Outlook application, you will be popup a small window, read the instructions carefully to set up mail client for your email accounts in GoDaddy.
Now you need to open Outlook application, which is installed on your local desktop.The instructions you need to follow is
The instructions you need to follow is:-
- Mail application “Microsoft Outlook 2010® for Windows®” can automatically detect this email account’s settings.
- Now, Choose to set up a new email account in “Microsoft Outlook 2010® for Windows®”.
- When “Microsoft Outlook 2010® for Windows®” prompts you for the email address, enter “email@example.com(enter your email account, which is already created on your cPanel account)”.
- Use your email account password as the password.
- If the auto-configuration fails, please set up the account using the manual settings.
Above method is, set up email client by the auto-configuration process, you can either choose auto discovery or you can go for Manual settings to set up your email accounts in Outlook application.
Note: If you are unable to set auto configuration script for your email client, you can manually configure your email client using the settings as mentioned below.
Step-5) Check the image for manual configuration of the email client in GoDaddy.
For Manual setup, I have marked the settings option in the below picture, so open the Outlook email client and go to account settings and enter as shown in the below picture.
User Name: Your email account.
Password: Your email account password.
Server: Ports(refer below image).
Server: SMTP or IMAP.
