Step-1) To backup MySql database in GoDaddy through cPanel, first log in to your Godaddy’s Account, Once you logged-in, now you need to click on your account’s top right corner of the page(As shown in the below image), in those options just click on a “My-Products” option.Once you click on a “My-Products” option, below you will get multiple options.(check we have “Domains, Web hosting, and WorkSpace Email”).
Step-2) After completion of the first step now you need to click on “Web Hosting->Manage” option ( I have hosted only one website so I will click on “blogkeep.com-> Manage” option if you have multiple websites hosted then you need to click on “Manage”, for which you want to backup MySql database in GoDaddy through cPanel).
Step-3) After clicking on “Web Hosting->Manage” option you will get redirected to your cPanel’s account which contains all hosted account related information. Just scroll down the page and in the bottom, you can find “phpMyAdmin” option under Databases tab (refer the image for clarification)
Step-4) After clicking on “phpMyAdmin” option you will be redirected to database account details, Now click on the first option from left navigation panel(refer the image).
Step-5) After completing the step-4, you will get all database files on your screen, now click on “Export” option which will help you to take backup of mysql database.
Step-6) After clicking on “Export” option, you will be asked to download the backup MySQL database of your website in multiple ways(refer the image).
Now you have to select either “Quick” or “Custom” export method to backup your MySQL data
Format: – You can export all your MySQL database in multiple ways such as ex- Text report, CSV format, PDF, and etc.

1) Navigate to “phpMyAdmin” option as I shown above
2) Click on “database details” as discussed in step-4
3) Now click on “import files” tab
4) Click “Browse” option to import your files in a hosting account
5) After updating your database files click on “Go” button to save all your SQL information.
